Artist's Comments

This is the second panorama shot I took and put together from the top of Piccolo Mountain, which is the next peak east of Whistler Mountain. It is a full 360 degree panorama, and the very left and very right of the picture is the peak of Whistler.
This was taken after climbing up to the top, on our way to Flute Bowl backcountry skiing. The view was to die for, which is why I decided then that I wanted to make a panorama of it. I think it turned out alright, though as seen the sky colour changes some depending on the angle of the camera with respect to the sun. I think the guy looking at his map really adds to the photo, along with all the little ants of people throughout the hill (more easily seen in the full sized 16210x1432 at [link] ).

This, is my heaven...

Beautiful shot as always :) Is it my imagination or do you get to travel a lot? I'm certainly jealous ;)

heh thank you so much!
I don't get to travel all that much, but I guess more than most, so I am lucky and very thankful that way. All these mountain shots are from the same week though, just delayed postings! Now it is on to some cottage shots :)

Yea full 360 degree shots are massive! I tried uploading this one for the past two weeks but I think that it was so large (high width to height ratio), so they wouldn't accept it! Finally though :)
I am glad you like it. I highly suggest heading out somewhere similar and seeing it yourself.. it is magnitudes better
:iconrealitybreach:
i bet it is  but this summer i'll go and see the wonderful land scapes in ireland =P (i'm so glad for going that i'm telling everyone..lolol...nevermind) =)

*stares* wow.... And I thought Scotland was beautiful. This is a literally breathtaking shot - amazing!

It is a cliche that most cliches are true, but then like most cliches, that cliche is untrue.
:iconendure:
Isn't it though? The view is to die for. If you ski (which isn't quite the same in Scotland) then heading somewhere like the Rockies (or the Alps for being closer) is highly worthwhile. I wish I wasn't posting pictures of it but actually allowing people to see it themselves, because it is so very much better in real life!! So yea, that is me trying to sell you on seeing such natural beauty hehe :)

:omg::jawdrop::eyepopping: This is increadable you did a wonderful job! :+fav::hug::blowkiss::wave:

Thank you!! I really should have put more time into it making the sky better, but oh well.. better than nothing I guess heh. It is really the mountains that count, in my eyes! Definitely makes me want to go back right this second
